My Beloved,
My Eternal
Companion
by
Lydia Wardell
When soft winds whisper through the cosmos
And fleeting, distant stars are long since dark,
A memory stirs within my soul
Of things we shared and a mutual goal.
We loved and parted, accepting the call;
Blessed by Father, we left His hall
To meet again! A joyous
Renewal of love,
Our brilliant, faceted Jewel.
Remember always, My Darling,
Thou art my beloved
companion,
My eternal companion.
When morning stars no longer shout for joy,
And the sun and moon are but legend,
Thou art mine
And I am thine!
