   Cut a New Path

"Outside the Box"

Annie Johnson was a focal Character in Maya Angelou's bestseller, Wouldn't Take Nothing for my Journey Now.   Annie Johnson is a woman who, believing that there was more to lfe than submission and poverty, "cuts a new path" for herself.  Annie understood that achieving success requires more than dreaming about success -- it requires more than merely "thinking outside the box."

Many of us speak in terms of "thinking outside of the box" as a stepping stone to innovation.  In reality, however, new ideas are a dime a dozen.  It means little to have a new idea and not allow it to germinate and activate;  the only way a good idea comes to fruition is if one diligently works to see it through and actually takes the steps necessary to "cut a new path."
(The preceeding was excerpted from an editorial in Computrition, Inc's  "Innovations."

Create Tomorrow by What We Dream Today

Vision is the art of seeing the invisible.
                                        Johathan Swift

Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move men.
                                                         Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities.  We need men who can dream of things that never were.
                                                                 John F. Kennedy

Some people
see things
as they are and say
"Why."
I dream things
that never were
and say
"Why not."

-George Bernard Shaw-
